What did I find in my Birchbox this month? (April edit)

Firstly tell me what is Birchbox?

Birchbox is a monthly subscription box, for just £10 a month you get five travel sized high end beauty goodies delivered to your door (beneficial for bloggers) so that could be a mix of make up, skincare, perfume, hair products, bath stuff or even beauty tools, another great thing about Birchbox is when you sign up, you can fill in your personal profile and put in your preferences which helps Birchbox select products best suited to your hair, skin and style. Brands they feature include well known brands such as Benefit, Bobbi Brown, Elemis, Laura Mercier and Stila then there’s also lots of exclusive brands that may not be available in a store near you. You can cancel your membership at any time oh and they won’t ever send you the same product twice. Register for your first box here

This is what i received this month

Cath Kidston hand cream

This month’s box was celebrating 25 years of Cath Kidston so they’re giving away a Cath Kidston hand cream in every April box, it smells beautiful, it’s fragranced with jasmine and orange flower and is paraben free

Model Co baked highlighter in moonshine

Incase you didn’t know, model co is an Australian brand launched by model agent Shelley Barrett, inspired by her clientele which were of course glamorous models, this highlighter is so pretty, it glides on really well and gives you that natural golden glow, perfect for summer

Beautaniq beauty fill + tame tinted brow gel in brunette

This brow gel definitely defined my brows and made them appear thicker but I personally wouldn’t use it again just because I think it has a warm undertone and I prefer something more ash

Percy & Reed perfectly perfecting wonder balm

I’d heard great things about Percy & Reed products but never actually tried them so I was really pleased when I received this and I can say I love it, what it does is it preps your hair for styling, just like a primer preps your face for make up, after using this my hair was so much sleeker and it tames the annoying frizzy bits

AfterSpa magic make up cloth

You’re lying if you say you don’t dread taking your make up off at the end of the day, what this magic cloth does, it removes all types of make up with just warm water, all you do is wet your face and buff the cloth over your skin, perfect for after nights out when you get in at 6am and just want to hop into bed

Please note: when you receive the April box, you may get slightly different products to mine, thought I’d make that clear to avoid disappointment but if you have your eye on a particular one of these, all products can be bought full size from the Birchbox shop
